


DESCRIPTION/COMPOSITION
Sterling Crown Gypsum Ceiling panels consists of an aerated gypsum core encased
in strong paper liners. The surface is smooth and even, ideal for various
decorative finishes.

APPLICATION
Sterling Crown gypsum panels are square-cut and installed in exposed T-grid
metal systems or similar lay-in modular grid suspended ceiling systems.
FINISHES/RESISTANCE/HUMIDITY
The panels can be supplied with decorative vinyl designs, pre - painted or
engraved finishes. The vinyl surfaces of Sterling Crown panels have a water
vapour resistance of not less than 15MNs/g. If required the panels can be
supplied with either aluminium foil or red pvc backing. The aluminium foil
backing increases the tiles thermal insulation performance whereas the pvc
backing is recommended in high humidity areas as a vapour barrier.
FIRE PROTECTION
Gypsum board are one of the best product for fire protection. The unique behavior of the gypsum core when subjected to high temperatures provides good resistant properties.

STANDARDS
As a
result of their performance when tested to BS 476:Part 6 and Part:7 the Sterling
Crown base boards conforms to Class "O" in accordance to the Department of
Fire Service.
